Authority of the Scriptures

What does the scripture say about its own authority? Peter declares that the prophetic word givers were moved by the Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:21. 

Paul said the word spoken to the Thessalonian congregation was the veritable word of God, 1 Thessalonians 2:13. He also said that the scriptures are “God-breathed,” 2 Tim. 3:16.

 When we study the authority of the scriptures, what is meant by terms

such as Inspiration, Infallibility, and Inerrancy? And what are the scriptures that stake claim to authority as being the “God’s word?
